This is the 4th pair of Salomon shoes that I’ve purchased. All are extreemly comfortable with great arch support and a wide toe box. I purchased this last pair a few days before a planned trip to Ecuador, as I wanted a new pair for doing some hiking in the Andes and didn’t have room to take hiking boots. The shoes were extreemly comfortable and worked great on the trails. The friend that I traveled with ended up with very painful big toes from the downhill portions of our hikes. She was in misery until I loaned her my new Salomon shoes to wear for a few days after our hiking was done. She wears the same size shoe as me and the large toe box allowed her painful toes enough room so that they healed. She plans to replace her old shoes with a pair of Salomon’s.

Product quality is excellent, but the sizes of shoes are not the same as in the publication and I can not use them because they are very large (two sizes), please correct.
I loved this product to my days on the mountain. also thank you very much.

Finally shoe that covers my toes with more then just “mesh”. My problem is that no matter what running shoe I buy there is a whole in the mesh after 2-3 weeks( and yes I do keep my toenails short trimmed).
I definitely think I wont have this problem with this type of shoe.There is firm material covering the whole toe area. Excellent , excellent !
I usually run in very light runners and this one seems a little heavier, so the first 20 Minutes was a getting used to experience but then they really grew on me.
Extremely comfortable and very well cushioned.
I also like the fact that there are no laces to tie.
I make triple ties in my laces and sometimes they still open or the end of the lace pinches my leg hate that one).
Not with this shoe, you pull on the button and make it as tight as you wish and it stays there the whole time, awesome.
I always have a good fit if I order shoes 8.5 so same for this one . 8 would probably fit as well but I am glad I got the 8.5 as I wear thicker socks in winter. I think this shoe will last for some time!
